About the Conference
Annually, the MCEC brings together classical educators from public, private, or homeschools; large or small schools; urban, suburban, or rural environments. This wealth of knowledge paired with a zeal for classical pedagogy and practice provides the context for the workshops, sessions, and collaboration offered today.
In good company, educators will have ample opportunities to engage in the Great Conversation to deepen their understanding of the philosophy and practice of classical education while focusing on what unites us and celebrating the varied manifestations of the classical tradition present in education today.
The word conference comes from the Latin conferre, “to bring together, compare, confer < com-, together” + ferre, “to bear”.
